In order to add Rust Admins to your server, you will need to know user 64 bit Steam ID. Ask user to share you his Steam profile link
How do I share my Steam profile link?
Open up your Steam client and choose View, then click Settings. Choose Interface and check the box that reads, "Display Steam URL address when available"
Click OK. Now click on your Steam Profile Name and select View Profile
Open Steam ID I/O in your browser . Paste link in textbox and click on lookup button.
Now copy steamID64 line.
Go to your game server control panel click on configuration files then edit users.cfg file
For each user that you want to assign the owner admin role to, you will need their 64 bit Steam ID.
users.cfg Server Admin Access [ Text Editor ] Enter or edit the following line, on a separate line, for each player you want to assign the owner admin
ownerid “64_bit_steam_id” “optional_user_name” “optional_reason”
For Moderator role use
moderatorid “64_bit_steam_id” “optional_name” “optional_reason”Click on SAVE icon and restart your server in order for changes to take effect.
RUST Roles
ownerid – Full Rust admin
moderatorid – Same as owner with exception of deliting other admin
